Developing good spiritual judgment/character

It is important we all are(especially children) are trained to have good spiritual judgment.  Often it is not easy to figure out or intuitively sense the difference between healthy/positive/constructive behavior and unhealthy/negative/destructive behavior.  Practical spiritual beliefs/programming, along with the healthy type of spiritual/physical training these beliefs should inspire one to do, should help one to become better able to sense how to progress in a direction that will be good for your well being.  One needs to develop a good spiritual rudder to help steer oneself in a positive/healthy spiritual direction in all of ones behaviors.  The more one is tuned into oneself spiritually, the more one will be able to tune into others, so one can interact  with them in a healthy way spiritually.  Hard/serious physical/spiritual training can help one to better tune into the very hard/serious problems that exist in this world, the people most affected by these problems, and the spiritual causes of these problems.  Cardiovascular/heart exercise, meditative exercise, and a strict healthy diet(with nutritional supplements if needed)can help one to become able to more tune into the serious side of life, so that one can better figure out how to create serious positive consequences in ones life/world and avoid serious negative consequences in ones life/world.

It is so easy to get hurt when training ones body really hard in order to become really healthy physically and spiritually.   There is a fine line between safely pushing oneself extremely hard, and pushing oneself too hard and harming/injuring oneself.  Practice can help one to better develop the body awareness and intuition to become good at sensing this spiritual fine line.  But, one needs to have the practical spiritual beliefs that enable one to handle really the intense physical/spiritual states that hard/difficult physical/spiritual training involves.  Physical/spiritual training includes meditative movement exercises like the meditative walking&running that I have developed on a very intense level, and cardiovascular exercise like the dumbbell swing exercise I do.  It takes a long period of time to become good at these types of physical/spiritual exercises, and to adjust ones diet so that it supports ones ability to do these well.  One will find that a lean/leaner body will help one to better tune in spiritually when doing intense physical/spiritual training.  I find that the leaner my body becomes, the more important it is that I exercise even more intensely, so that my body will be able to be fit enough to handle being really lean.  Everyone does not have to become really lean, but they need to figure out what weight works best for giving them the spiritual/physical health they require to be able to perform their mission/purpose here in this life.

I feel people(like me) who specialize in the spiritual require the extra spiritual strength and awareness that a really lean well trained(cardiovascularly&meditatively) body without much extra muscle can provide.   People who use calorie restricted diets for life extension often have very low body weight, but are very healthy because of the very nutritious diet they are on.  In the past spiritual people have often used an austere lifestyle and diet to help their spiritual development, but they did not have the scientific knowledge we have today to help them do this in the healthiest way.  We have the knowledge today, that was not available in the past to be able to be able to make a lot more progress spiritually.  But, since we now live in an age in which overly permissive lifestyles(along with supportive overly tolerant/permissive spiritual beliefs) tend to be popular, it can be hard to not be controlled by a spiritual mindset, that is antagonistic to anything that is really difficult/challenging spiritually .

I have a lot of  blog posts on this site covering in more detail the type of training and beliefs that should work really well to improve ones spiritual/physical well being!

5/6/2016:  I have changed my training routine and have put on extra weight since printing this blog post.  I got a lot of good spiritual insights and improved my training when on this extremely austere(calorie restricted) diet I was on at that time.  I am now getting stronger in my training as a result of the weight gain which involves a combination of muscle and fat.  My strict diet has not changed except that I am not restricting calories as much.  I now eat small meals when ever my body gets hungry(8 meals every 3 hours around the clock).  I an training extremely hard and depending on the difficulty of my physical/spiritual training to keep me extremely healthy physically and spiritually.

The type of dumbbell swings I do, how they train the body, and their physical-spiritual purpose

This note was in response to questions a person posed to me on a spiritual site.

This exercise does not create large muscles which is why I weigh only 125 lbs at 5′ 10″ tall.  It is mainly a cardiovascular exercise helping my heart and circulation to be really in top form.  When I take the dumbbell behind my head/neck, and then lift it back over, I do use my triceps.  I started doing this when I had been doing a pushup challenge, and decided it was better just to extend my dumbbell swing to behind my head instead.  It is complicated, but this change in my dumbbell swings made them even better at putting me in extremely intense and difficult physical/spiritual states which is why I do them.

The type of modified dumbbell swing exercise that I do is mainly an endurance exercise.  It does keep a lot of muscles well toned!  It does use the neck muscles above the shoulders a lot, which I believe is very valuable since these muscles are so close to the brain.  I use these neck muscles as a focal point when doing my meditative runs and walks, and even use them a lot with my stretching exercises. I do believe the development of the spiritual parts of the brain related to emotion and sleep are essential to one spiritual strength and awareness.  I do tend to focus on these parts of my brain when meditating and exercising.  My lower back has hurt at times, but I just have to regularly stretch my back(especially when doing my meditative walks) in order to prevent muscle tightness there which I believe causes the problem.

A lot of people my age and even younger tend to have a lot of aches and pains.  I am doing very well keeping myself extremely healthy physically and spiritually and avoiding any injuries that could harm my progress in this area.  I am good at this because I have had an extreme spiritual focus on health and fitness my whole life and have become really tuned into my body and can read it really well as a result.  I will not go into the reasons for my extreme motivations in this area and why I feel I do things that others would be unwilling or unable to do because they would see no reason to do it based on their beliefs, and the fact that they can survive well enough to meet their spiritual/physical needs without having to deal with the extreme emotional/spiritual duress involves in developing and performing such exercises!

1/25/17 I deepened the squat to these modified(bent elbows and behind head) 2 handed dumbbell swings so that they would take a little longer so that I could breath in and 15 times during the whole 6 minutes.  I need a huge amount of spiritual intensity to reach a world that is so backward spiritually and so stuck in its ways!

  • 10/03/17  Now doing the squat a lot deeper bringing the 20 lb dumbbell close to my knees with my head also brought down at the lower part of the swing to be very close to the dumbbell also with my elbows very bent while at this lowest position.  My head does follow the dumbbell up as it rises and then is lifted over the head and behind it.  I may seem like quite a convoluted form of dumbbell swing, but it works well to put me into the most intense of spiritual states possible!  I now do 19 to 21 in and out breaths per dumbbell swing.  Extremely hard exercise to do which I can only do as a result of all my previous exercise training, my spiritual theories(astrology system) that help me tune my body in really well  spiritually, my other meditative training techniques, and my diet!

Why as a spiritual pioneer I must train so extremely hard spiritually

I survive due to my hard spiritual training. My position is weak on this planet, has been since birth, and my survival is not getting any easier. So, I compensate, by keep increasing my spiritual strength and capabilities. Often necessity is the mother of invention. My abilities are so limited to the spiritual area, that I must find a way to contribute something of a lot of value to the world in this area. My astrology system is not just any astrology system, but one that was designed to work better than those of the past.

It is hard to brings new/better spiritual beliefs and techniques to a world that is very resistant to this. I believe this world is not in a very good spiritual state, and am personally reminded of this everyday. I do not go around totally blaming the victims of all the terrible conditions and problems that exist on this Earth, when these serious problems are the result of the inadequate spiritual beliefs/understanding that exists on this Earth. When one is a victim of the messed up spiritual state this world in in in some way, it is up to you to work extremely hard to change the conditions that exist here.

I have to constantly work at getting stronger spiritually so that I can individually challenge the various spiritual/religious beliefs that exist on this planet which have quite a number of believers in them. When one individually challenges a belief that has numerous believers, one will be at a disadvantage, since beliefs with the psychic support of many are at an advantage over beliefs supported by only one person. A pioneer is often in a position where they have to overcome a lot of resistance to their different/new view of the world.

I am protecting myself from the antagonistic spiritual energy I have directed toward me as a result of challenging the spiritual beliefs of others, by maintaining a diet that keeps me hungry to a degree all the time so that I keep my blood sugar low. I feel low blood sugar helps me to meditate even harder and deeper and stay in a tough/difficult and protective spiritual state. When one is dealing with being hungry, properly and within safe limits, one will pick up on a sort of restless/frantic energy that can be very useful to keep one really tough and sharp spiritually. One can put oneself in a really safe spiritual place from which you can safely challenge the inadequate spiritual beliefs that are responsible for the inadequate spiritual state this world is in.

I understand that a lot of people will see me in a negative spiritual light or will be unable to see the value in my spiritual approach, but all I need to do is reach the right people who are ready to handle the added discomfort that comes with gaining more hard spiritual truth and the training and resultant spiritual capabilities that come with it. Great achievements in any area of value, require being trained really well and overcoming an awful lot. The spiritual is just another field one can achieve a lot in provided one is willing to do the well directed hard work required.

5/6/16:  I got a lot of good spiritual insight and improved my spiritual training technique quite a bit when on the diet that kept me quite hungry a lot of the time.  I am no longer battling hunger like I did when this blog post was published. I have since put on some weight and now train even better and harder.  My astrology system got perfected to the point that I no longer feel any need to improve it further.  My strict diet has not changed much other than adding more calories with my 8 small meal every 3 hours around the clock.  I am on a high protein(about 130 grams), high carbohydrate, and low fat diet with oatmeal being my staple food eaten at practically every meal.  I am now connecting more easily with other people which is required for me to bring my more advance spiritual ideas and training techniques to the world.

My purpose

My “path” or purpose is not into accepting the status quo spiritually in myself, in other people or in the world around me. I am very aware personally about how much this world and its inhabitants needs to improve spiritually, and I have a life’s focus on developing better spiritual beliefs/programming and training techniques so as to help people improve on where they are at spiritually and where they are heading spiritually. I find a lot of spiritual beliefs tune people out to the complex and challenging physical reality we exist in and to the people facing really challenging circumstances in it. We need to be careful about just passing through this life on this Earth spiritually and not really making the most of our time here. Our spirit’s value is shaped by how much we are able to contribute positively to the world we now exist in.  This Earth could be a wonderful place to exist in spiritually if everyone really worked extremely hard to contribute in the way they are best able to making this a better place to exist in physically and spiritually.

Is there such a thing as a better spiritual belief?

Yes, what one believes to be true about the spiritual can be improved on. Good training can tune you into the spiritual a lot better. And as one tunes into the spiritual better one can improve on ones spiritual beliefs so they interface better spiritually with the concrete challenging physical reality we exist in. So many spiritual beliefs tune people out from being effective in this challenging environment we are now in. As one increases the difficulty of the tough spiritual-physical training one does, or as one takes on more difficult spiritual(emotionally tough)challenges in life, one will require spiritual beliefs that are good enough to help one handle them. So many spiritual beliefs do not help one embrace the tough side of life spiritually, but seek a sort of escapism from it. The beliefs in perfect spiritual sources or connections makes one not open enough to improving what one believes. No one has perfect intuition especially in this world as is obvious by how people behave when on autopilot. Gut feeling are often wrong and the heart often misguides people with disastrous results. So many really naive(overly simplistic) beliefs are readily accepted often without much thought. Often people represent and sort of impose their spiritual beliefs on other on their internet posts without thinking they are!

Believing there is no such thing as a better spiritual belief, is a belief that I believe can be replaced with a better belief!

In my life I learned the hard way how important it is to have spiritual beliefs that help one to interface well with this challenging physical reality we all exist in that can really test how well our spiritual beliefs help us function spiritually when we are under a lot of pressure.

A lot of wild spiritual beliefs can come from a persons imagination which do not help them to connect very well spiritually with day to day reality in this physical world they exist in. A lot of religious and spiritual beliefs that are popular(and have a lot of psychic support in this world due to all those who believe in them)that can be readily be found on sites on the internet, tend to motivate people to seek to ultimately escape from the physical reality we are now in, rather than puting all of their spiritual energy they are able into doing the really difficult spiritual work required to positively transform it.

This physical reality of the type that exists on this Earth I believe is spiritually inescapable.

This is how I responded to a forum post at a spiritual site titled “The Earth is too negative” in which some one posted the popular belief that we should focus on escaping the cycle of reincarnation:

I believe reincarnation is a vital part of our reality. I do not see any need to attempt to escape from it. I believe the spirit requires a body in a challenging physical world in order to function at its best. I feel too many spiritual beliefs systems devalue(through the types of beliefs they accept) the importance of a challenging physical world(like the Earth)is to individual spirits like us. So I tailor my spiritual beliefs to make the physical(including having a link to an organic functioning body with function brain and spiritual center in it) indispensable to the spirit. I make sure I have no part of my being desiring anything other than existing and performing well spiritually in a challenging physical world which the Earth is the one I currently am on/in. I believe that the spiritual beliefs that are better at helping us focus and perform spiritually in this challenging physical world we exist right now will be the one closest to the truth.

I do extremely intense and difficult meditative and cardiovascular physical/spiritual exercises that put me in and train me to be able to handle the roughest physical/spiritual states(a sort of spiritual crisis training) that are possible for me. Since I have been focusing on increasing the strength of my spiritual-physical connection though this type of training for a very long time, I am very strong spiritually in connecting with and dealing with this physical reality I exist in right now. My spiritual focus is on improving on the spiritual beliefs and training techniques that exist on this Earth not agreeing with them. I have to have spiritual beliefs/programming that enables me to handle the really heavy doses of reality my training and the conditions that exist in this challenging physical world I exist in provide. As my training has improved and I have gotten better at it, my spiritual beliefs had to also improve so that I had the right mindset required to be motivated to do them and handle them. One can deal with an awful lot if one has spiritual beliefs that are good enough to motivate one to put up with the intense discomfort and difficulty that comes with really challenging spiritual-physical type training. One can train oneself spiritually to be a lot better able to handle and take on in a positive way the huge spiritual challenges that exist on this planet.

I realize that having a spiritual belief system that is constantly being updated with a focus on improving on the spiritual beliefs now existing, dominating and spiritually impacting this planet will not “resonate” well with those who are attached in a sort of unquestioning acceptance of some of those prevalent spiritual beliefs systems which often have popular websites one can visit on the internet in order to have ones spiritual beliefs supported and reinforced. I am a spiritual independent free to find/develop the best spiritual beliefs I am able without being held back by some “perfect” autocratic type spiritual ideology that is blindly accepted in a world where perfect spiritual sources/connections are believed to exist.

2 near death experiences in 1992 forced me to improve further on my spiritual beliefs and training techniques

I did hit bottom when I had my 2 near death experiences in 1992. Since then I have worked really hard to improve my spiritual training techniques and spiritual beliefs so that that would never happen again. I never gave up when certain spiritual energies here tried to push me off this planet. I survived because of my “never give up attitude”. I had too many spiritual beliefs at the time that were mythologically based and not rational enough to interface well enough with this physical reality to help me get a strong enough grip on it so that I could handle the intense physical/spiritual challenges that I needed to in order to survive and serve my life’s purpose. I have been driven since what happened to me in 1992, to really focus even more intensely on improving on the spiritual beliefs that so dominate this planet and are responsible for the messed up spiritual state it is in.

I have very high spiritual standards because I am the type of spirit that requires them in order to function the way I need to. I hang on really strongly to my spiritual self awareness, since I can not rely on the spiritual status quo that exist on this planet right now and the type of spiritual energy that it maintains here to sustain me, as it does lots of other spirits, when I am pushed to the very edge to what I can handle. I see things from an extremely unique spiritual perspective because I an an extremely unique spirit that is extremely specialized in my spiritual capabilities. People can not agree with how I represent myself and the world around me, but I will forcefully represent myself and my purpose with all the spiritual strength and awareness that comes with a lifetime of focusing intensely in this area. I will not allow the spiritual beliefs that dominate this planet and most spirits residing here and energies that go with them push me off this Earth and prevent me contributing what I have to offer spiritually to it.

Here is my blog post I did in the past when these 2 near death experiences were fresher to my memory:https://astrogoodwin.wordpress.com/2011/10/06/my-t

We live in a time in which great spiritual innovation can happen.

Great innovation often happens in fields that have been resistant to progress for quite some time. In the spiritual/religious field, resistance to progress tend to readily happen, since beliefs run deep and can be deeply implanted and can be very resistant to better spiritual beliefs that are more rational and effective in the challenging world we presently exist in and perform in spiritually. I know from personal experience, since I have faced some really intense challenges in my life, that under intense crisis conditions one needs rational spiritual beliefs to keep one sane and functioning well spiritually. That irrational spiritual beliefs tend not to serve one well in a crisis. Since I use a type of spiritual crisis training as part of my daily routine, I am in good position to make sure my beliefs are rational enough to handle the roughest of conditions I could face spiritually in this challenging world.

Due to comments when I posted this elsewhere I added this to this blog:

We connect with God(the universal spirit) to the degree we connect spiritually with the physical reality we exist in. Good spiritual training helps us as individuals increase our connection with reality. When we lose our connection with reality as a result of losing our connection with our self, we no longer will have a good connection with God. But, we can become readily controlled by certain spiritual ideologies that have a lot of psychic support presently in this world, when we do something that causes us to lose our self awareness. A lot of spiritual beliefs systems sort of brainwash people into their ideology. Spiritual innovation can not happen unless people keep their awareness of who they are as independent spirits and do not allow the current not that adequate spiritual energies and the beliefs that support them, that dominate this Earth right now control them. People can connect with energies that are projected psychically by believers to represent God in a way that is not good enough for the challenges of the reality we now exist in.

Individual spiritual “path” or following a spiritual herd and popular websites!

People often use the term “path” as though they are moving on a very independent spiritual course. But often these people are really following a herd of people who are guided by popular websites that have a label for the spiritual ideology that they follow. They may not think of it as an ideology, but these web sites sure sound like they present an ideology. I have spiritual beliefs that can only be found through reading what I myself have presented on the internet. I have a very “challenging physical world” focused type of spirituality intended to help everyone improve on their spiritual beliefs and training so they can better face spiritually the huge challenges that only a physical world can present one with and be capable of bringing out the most in one spiritually. I would not mind having a “herd” following me, but in a way that is not done blindly without questioning and experimentation as to how well ones spiritual beliefs actually help one to better perform spiritually. People with spiritual expertise like me need people to utilize what I have to offer in a way that works well for them as unique individual spirits.
