Reincarnation of the right kind just makes one not escape the cycle of reality so one is forced to improve oneself spiritually and keep making ones next cycle a better one. Cycles happen within this life and naturally should continue beyond this life, Simplistic afterlife scenarios that represent an escape from the type of reality we now exist in just are just not good enough!
